APRIL 2008

February saw another silver gilt medal and with the season warming up! our plants did us proud and came in to full flower in April for our fabulous first Gold winning display !! Needless to say we are chuffed to bits, also our beautiful Grevillea johnsonii Elegance received an award of merit.

So with that under our belts we are now rushing around preparing our wares for our first ever visit to the Harrogate Spring Show. See you when we get back...

JANUARY 2008

January 2008 saw a good start to the season with a Silver Gilt, and despite the appalling weather, it was good to see so many familiar faces at the Halls.

We are thrilled to be back at Chelsea again this year and although Fran and I aren't quite able to build any brick walls as Dad has in the past, we have designed what we hope to be a lovely display and have begun practising how to render. Any tips gratefully received..!

Also, it will be out first time exhibiting at Harrogate, so to all our fellow exhibitors, in particular, Richard, Liz and Sara at H.W.Hyde & Son and Richard from Fibrex Nurseries, it will be a miracle if we don't forget the broom, moss or marker pens, so we apologise to you all in advance for having to beg/borrow from you all, again.

For those who wish to follow our progress, we shall be giving updates running upto the shows and will give a small insight into the sometimes frustrating, but mostly exciting, world of exhibiting.

Having received a succession of Silver Gilts towards the end of last year, we are, as they say, going for Gold in 2008, so let the shows begin..
